Fabrication of NbN based ferromagnetic Josephson junction with PdNi barrier layer

(in English) We develop ferromagnetic Josephson junctions to realize the flux-bias-free superconducting flux quantum bit (qubit) with the ferromagnetic π junction which has an advantage for large-scale superconducting quantum circuits. As NbN-based ferromagnetic Josephson junction suitable for the qubit applications, NbN/CuNi/NbN ferromagnetic π junctions have been reported so far. In the junctions with CuNi barrier, however, inhomogeneous Ni clusters in the CuNi film has been reported. In this work, we fabricated the NbN-based Josephson junctions with ferromagnetic PdNi barriers in which the better in-plane magnetic uniformity is expected and evaluated their characterisitcs.
