In the action games for visually impaired, it is necessary for players to recognize game objects by sound. In the previous works, we proposed a DTMF prompt method based on maze branches by 3 kinds of sine waves. It has characteristics that easily recognize the position about game objects by only sound. But it has problems with listening to DTMF sound for a long time would cause players get tired from too much stimulation. In this paper, we propose a new prompt method by introducing a metaphor of sonar. Using the loudness, pitch and range difference between two ears to intensify the recognition of player cursor. |
