Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) High quality and fast random number generation is important for security and simulation. This study aims to realize a completely new random number generator that combines an image sensor and a magnetic garnet film as a noise source. In this paper, we discuss the hardware structure for incorporating a random number generator as a small device and generate a simple sequence of numbers using a single board computer as an experiment. We also evaluated the generated sequences using a statistical test (NIST-SP-800-22).
