(in English) Thought and Language Group in IEICE has had various discussions on various types of multi-person conversations, but due to the effects of the COVID-19, many activities need to be considered for online activities. The data collection and analysis methods used during face-to-face activities may be directly applicable to online activities, or they may be limited. With the aim of discussing data collection and analysis of various online activities that are currently being undertaken and to stimulate future activities, we decided to set up a workshop session on "Data Collection and Analysis of Online Multiplayer Conversations. This paper will focus on data collection in online foreign language course multiplayer conversations conducted by students who are pre-service teachers.
