| (in English) | The constantly increasing availability of digital data on scholarly contributions, such as academic papers and research grants, presents numerous opportunities to analyze the structure and development of science using data mining techniques. In this talk, we first introduce conventional methods of social network analysis and content analysis for dealing with scholarly data. Then, we review several applications, such as scientific paper recommendations and expert searches in academic databases.
