In order to reduce the operational expenditure (OPEX) of optical networks, researches on autonomous optical network operation using artificial intelligence / machine learning technologies have begun to attracting attention. To realize this, it is important to collect data from optical network equipment for understanding network status quickly and accurately, and data analysis and diagnosis technologies to utilize the data for network operation. The paper introduces our works on open platform (whitebox transponder, open interface, software platform) for collecting data from coherent DSP and optical link diagnosis technology that applies deep learning technology to the collected DSP data. |
