Influence of color components of displayed image on performance of uniform color space-based modulation for digital signage and image sensor-based visible light communication

(in English) We consider a visible light communication system using a digital signage and an image sensor. The visible light communication system has to transmit data information not to obstruct the visual information. We have proposed a modulation scheme that makes data information signals less perceptible to human eyes by using uniform color space, which is designed so that color differences perceived as equal by human eyes corresponds to equal distances in the color space. In this study, the effect of color components of the displayed image on the performance of the proposed modulation scheme is evaluated by obtaining the communication quality and visual quality characteristic using 6 patterns in which the values of R, G, and B of the displayed image are interchanged.
