A Study on Multi-Rate Transmission Scheme Using Two-Layered Spreading Codes for Synchronous Optical CDMA

(in English) Generalized modified prime sequence codes (GMPSCs) have been proposed as spreading codes for synchronous optical code division multiple access (CDMA).
In this paper, we propose a two-layered spreading code based on GMPSC and investigate performance of a multi-rate transmission scheme using the proposed code. The multi-rate synchronous optical CDMA with the proposed code completely eliminates the multiple user interference and achieves no decoding error in an ideal noise-free channel. In addition, the error rate characteristics are evaluated by computer simulation.
