In recent years, research on human activity recognition using Wi-Fi has been widely conducted.Wi-Fi can solve problems such as cost and privacy, but it also has challenges that require learning for each environment. In order to solve this problem, we use Wision, which is an imaging method that uses a receiving antenna array to calculate the intensity of radio waves in each direction. Wision uses a geometrically determined phase difference based on the angle of arrival and receiving antenna distance to calculate the intensity in each direction. Therefore, it is possible to do imaging independent of the environment. If the position and posture of a person can be recognized from the imaging results, it is expected to be applied to human position estimation and activity recognition. In this paper, we implemented Wision using an array of four receiving antennas, and investigated the activity recognition by imaging. As a result of experiments conducted in an environment where there is no reflection of radio waves from the surroundings, we confirmed that the imaging results change according to the human activities in the range of 60 to 120 degrees from the plane of the antenna array. |
