In recent years, the wireless communication systems has been increasing.
This has led to the problem of interference between systems and scarcity of frequency resources.
Due to the fact that the frequency resources are not used all the time, it is being considered to temporally and spatially share the resources with secondary systems in order to improving the frequency resource utilization.
In order to use the secondary system without affecting the primary system, it is necessary to estimate the source location of the unknown primary system.
Conventional techniques to estimate the location are difficult to estimate due to multipath and propagation loss caused by buildings.
We have been studying on estimating the source location based on Direction of Arrivals (DoAs) obtained by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with an array antenna.
The use of UAVs allows for flexible antenna placement and the possible movement of antennas to locations where estimation is advantageous.
In this paper, we report the estimation results of the K-factor when used for the placement of UAVs.
Evaluate the K-factor-based placement method considering the actual movement of UAVs.
Computer simulations will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the K-factor-based placement method. |
