Observation of verbal and non-verbal interactions related to Japanese food experience

(in English) In order to deepen the understanding of verbal and nonverbal interactions related to the Japanese food experience, we are building a corpus of video, audio, and gaze behavior of the co-eating experience at a traditional restaurant in Kyoto. As the first report, we introduce the details of data recording and preliminary analysis. We browse the data of synchronized viewing of the first-person view video including eye-mark data of two people eating together and the third-person view video by an environmental camera, and get an overview the relationship among their conversations, gaze behavior and personal interests on Japanese culture.
