The accuracy of biometric systems has been improved dramatically in the past decade. As the number of samples required for the FMR calculations increases, the cost of data collection has become a major issue. In order to reduce the cost, two statistical models based on extreme value theory are proposed in this paper. The proposed models are compared and evaluated on facial recognition algorithms and the corresponding false match rates are estimated. |
