| (in English) | With the aim of improving the possibilities of access to books by the visually impaired, we focused on the taking advantage of text DAISY, which is an accessible e-book and can be produced relatively short time. The recent multifunctional Braille display devices are equipped with a DAISY playback function and a real-time automatic Braille conversion function, which enables the users to read a text DAISY through both voice output and Braille display. As the result of our investigation on practicality of the Braille conversion function currently used, problems with readability and operability were clarified. In this paper, we report the results of an experiment to evaluate the effectiveness of measures to improve these problems under assuming a learning situation,. | |
