AP Connection Method for Maximizing System Throughput Considering User Interference

(in English) In a multi-transmission rate environment, an AP connection method that maximizes the system throughput based on the cooperative behavior of users has been proposed. The cooperative behavior of users means that new users move to improve the system throughput when connecting to an AP.
When two or more new users arrive, the location where they move depends on the interference of other users. However, the conventional method does not consider the interference between users. Moreover, there may be multiple optimal locations that maximize system throughput. In this paper, we propose an AP connection method that maximizes the system throughput by considering the interference between users, using a potential game model that can find only one optimal user position. Moreover, numerical analyses show some effectiveness of our proposed AP connection method.
