| 抄録 | （和） | 2030年以降の未来社会は，高齢化や労働人口の他，感染症などの突発的な社会課題にも対応していくことが求められる．情報通信ネットワークには，それらの課題を解決するための機能や性能の高度化が求められるのは当然として，基幹的な社会インフラとしての在り方を見直していくことが期待されている．特に2030年以降に利用される移動通信システムであるBeyond 5Gには，超高速・超低遅延・超多数接続などの特徴にとどまらず，上空や海洋への通信エリア拡張，現実世界と仮想世界の融合など，従来の通信分野以外のシステムと積極的な連携を図ることにより，これまで困難と考えられてきた社会全体の課題解決や最適化を期待されている．そのため，Beyond 5Gは異分野のシステムが連携できる柔軟な構成を担保するべきであるという理念に基づき，オープンプラットフォームとしてのアーキテクチャを確立する必要がある．このアーキテクチャは，広いステークホルダーが合意形成をしながら検討を進めるべきものであり，その議論の端緒とするためNICTではBeyond 5G/6Gホワイトペーパー日本語2.0版を公開している．本稿は，そのホワイトペーパーの内容を踏まえて，NICTのBeyond 5G研究開発が目指す視点の一端を紹介する． |
| （英） | The future society after 2030 is required to respond to sudden social issues such as infectious diseases as well as the aging and working population issues. Information and communication networks are expected to have more sophisticated functions and features for solving the issues, but also expected to review and implement its ideal way of existence as a fundamental social infrastructure. In particular after 2030s, Beyond 5G is expected not just for notable features such as ultra-high speed, ultra-low latency, and ultra-large number of connections, but also for solving social issues that have been considered difficult and optimizing society as a whole by actively coordinating with systems other than the information and communication technologies, for example, expansion of communication areas to the sky and ocean and fusion of the real world and virtual world. Therefore, Beyond 5G needs to have an established architecture as an open platform, on the basis of philosophy that the it ensures flexible architecture that allows systems from different fields to work together as an open platform. The architecture should seek for agreement of wide area of stakeholders, thus NICT has published Beyond 5G/6G White Paper. In this paper, one of the important perspectives of Beyond 5G R&D at NICT is introduced based on the white paper. | |
