We propose a method to derive appropriate control parameters with a small number of test cases for
in-vehicle networks. The delay trends for test cases are estimated based on the worst-case delay derived by Network Calculus, which uses mathematical theory. The control parameters that are expected to have less delay are extracted as test cases, and The actual delays of these test cases are measured by network simulations. Through experiments on an in-vehicle network, the number of test cases can be reduced by 1/16 and the evaluation time by 93% by using the proposed method. |
