Performance Evaluation of Radio-Wave Encrypted Modulation Method by Wireless Transmission Experiments

(in English) In recent years, it has become important to enhance the confidentiality of communications, and we have proposed a chaos modulation, which achieves physical layer security and channel coding effects. Subsequently, the effectiveness of chaos modulation has been demonstrated through transmission evaluations using numerical simulations and wired communication experiments. However, until now, wireless transmission experiments have not been conducted, and the effectiveness of chaos modulation for wireless transmission has not been demonstrated yet. Therefore, in this paper, we conduct wireless transmission experiments using a software radio and show that a gain of about 0.7 dB is obtained for binary phase-shift keying (BPSK), which has the same transmission efficiency as chaos modulation, when the bit error rate is 10^(-4).
