| (in English) | Joysticks and steering wheels are commonly used as interfaces for electric wheelchairs. In this study, we focused on an interface that detects posture changes from the user's sitting pressure distribution and operates the electric wheelchair intuitively without hands. We attempted to discriminate the postures, especially in the front-back direction by machine learning to improve the discrimination accuracy. Experiments demonstrated the possibility of improving discrimination accuracy and stability by changing the seating position of wheelchairs and selecting learning data. | |
