Since one of the 6G requirements is to provide global and ubiquitous coverage, there is an urgent need to cover unreachable areas by current mobile communications systems. SAGIN (Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network) has been attracting attention to enable global and ubiquitous coverage. Hence, in this study, we assume a SAGIN in which HAPS act as a relay for uploading data to satellite and forwarding data to the ground terminals (GT) over shared frequencies. However, the backlobes of the satellite uplink can interfere with the downlink to the GT, which can degrade communication quality. Therefore, previous studies have proposed interference suppression methods using directivity control of array antennas in SAGIN, but the number and location of ground terminals to suppress interference are not studied. In a real environment, the number of generated nulls is smaller than the number of GTs, which makes it impossible to direct nulls to all GTs. Thus, we propose a method for selection of the location of the null point while considering the effect of GTs' position. We also examine the impact of interference suppression on ground terminals according to the location of the null formation. |
