[Invited Lecture] Research on Construction of Temporary Wireless Networks based on mmWave Enabled UAV

(in English) It is very important to quickly and stably supply information communication infrastructure for video transmission to rescue teams and robots that support disaster areas. In conventional disaster area drone networks, multi-hop communication is performed via microwaves, so frequency utilization efficiency is poor and cannot be expected. The author has proposed a new network mechanism that constructs a broadband backbone networks using the millimeter wave band by efficiently flying multiple drone stations over the area to be monitored, taking a disaster area as an example. In this paper, the research activities so far will be revisited. Furthermore, remaining issues and future prospects will also be presented.
