| (in English) | Hard X-rays and cold thermal neutrons with wavelengths of around 1Å have been widely used for imaging inside objects because of their low interaction with materials. On the other hand, optical elements such as lenses and diffraction gratings that constitute imaging optical systems must be made of specific materials and have a high aspect ratio structure. In this talk, I will review such needs in X-ray and neutron optical elements and expectations for new process technologies in the present and near future. | |
