Segment Routing (SR) has attracted attention as a method to realize TE that maintain the QoS required in the networks provided by ISPs.
However, the existing SR-based TE (SR-TE) frameworks proposed cannot control QoS and SFC on a per-customer and per-application basis.
In this paper, we propose an SR-TE framework that can control QoS and SFC on a per-customer and per-application basis, the Customer and Application-aware SR-TE Framework (CA SR-TE).
In CA SR-TE, the number of applicable rules is insufficient in existing implementations when SFC is taken into account.
In this paper, we discussion a solution to this problem by relaxing the limit on the number of rules by utilizing VRF. |
