Yasuhisa Okazaki, Jevri Tri Ardiansah (Saga Univ.) ET2022-49
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We make a Braille learning support environment that uses a smartphone as a self-learning tool. We aim to adaptively support the user's learning by linking with a smartphone application while touching the actual braille using the card. In this study, we describe the development of card teaching materials with the sense of fingertips and its utilization with smartphones at the introductory stage of braille learning. The card is like a word book printed with actual braille and its pattern. The learner touches the actual braille on the card and proceeds with the learning through voice or vibration feedback from the smartphone application..
