Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Adiabatic quantum-flux-parametron (AQFP) circuits express logic by means of a small current so that logic gates are required to have a high driving ability to prevent logic inversion from thermal noise.
Majority gate (MAJ) , which is a basic logic gate in AQFP logic, have a challenge of its low driving ability.
We have proposed a MAJ having a high driving composed of an conventional MAJ and booster gate, and have shown that the driving power of the MAJ is about 10 times higher than that of a conventional MAJ at 5 GHz.
In this study, we have demonstrated the logic propagation of long wiring length of about 2 mm and the operation of a full adder using the newly designed MAJ at 100 kHz operation under liquid helium.
