(in English) Millimeter and sub-terahertz waves will be used for high-speed wireless communication in the mature phase of fifth generation (5G) mobile communication systems and Beyond 5G. A large number of high-density antennas with small coverage will be required because the spatial propagation losses of such waves are high. To accommodate these antennas efficientlly, analog radio-over-fiber (A-RoF) systems are attractive. In this paper, highly efficient antenna accommodation using A-RoF technology is introduced as examples of our studies on A-RoF systems.
