Mobile edge computing is gaining attention as a solution to the increasing network traffic load. Mobile edge computing is a concept in which multiple servers are distributed to shorten the distance between users and servers, and is expected to reduce traffic load. In general, the construction of a mobile edge computing system requires the allocation of edge servers and the assignment of edge servers to which users' jobs will be sent. Existing methods have not discussed the nature of the differences in results depending on the initial values taken, including the utilization ratio, which is the load on the edge servers in queueing theory. Therefore, this study discusses utilization and demonstrates the effectiveness of the initial value setting method using the k-means++ method. |
