A Routing Control Method considering the Real Time Information in Distributed Control SDM-EON

(in English) In recent years, communication traffic has been increasing rapidly, and higher speed and capacity transmission is required in the field of core networks. In the field of optical backbone networks, elastic optical networks and space-division multiplexing technologies have been attracting attention. In our previous study, we proposed a routing method for flexible route selection by candidate route expansion in a distributed control SDM-EON environment by relaxing the relay rules of control messages. However, in the previous study, the parameters used for route selection were static, depending on topology information such as the number of hops, and did not fully utilize the features of distributed control, which can take into account real-time network conditions. In this paper, we propose a routing method that takes into account not only the route length and hop count, but also the real-time information of frequency utilization by utilizing the frequency resource information included in control messages. Simulation results show that the instantaneous load is distributed, the overall network utilization efficiency is improved, and the rejection rate is improved.
