Monitoring of plant growth information is essential for proper environmental control of cucumber cultivation, which aims to increase yield by controlling the environment such as temperature, humidity, CO2, irrigation time, and water amount. In this study, we investigated a method for acquiring useful growth information by using object detection techniques on images of growers' fields acquired periodically by the Internet of Plants (IoP) cloud, an agricultural data collection platform in Kochi Prefecture. |
