Comparison of Instructional Effects between Two Soccer Tactics with VR-based Parallel Coaching

(in English) When soccer coaches give tactical coaching, the presentation is from a bird's-eye or third-person perspective, which is difficult to understand for players who lack the spatial cognitive ability to replace the presented information with a first-person perspective. Therefore, in order to support spatial cognitive ability, we created a system that can present tactics from multiple first-person perspectives using a virtual space, and analyzed the effects of parallel instruction. Parallel instruction is an instruction in which each player is presented with a first-person viewpoint for each position while simultaneously performing tactics for each position. The experimental results showed that players' tactical understanding and tactical execution improved when they were taught in parallel. In particular, it was confirmed that the parallel instruction was more effective in the defensive tactics in which the judgment of positioning was difficult.
