Draft of Information Excess/Insufficiency Test for Proof Questions in Junior High School Mathematics

(in English) It has been reported that about 40% of the junior high school students did not write anything in the answer column for the proof problem of figure which junior high school students study. In order for learners to be able to write proofs of proof questions, we think it is necessary to understand the structure of proofs. Therefore, we build an interactive environment of proof questions that promotes understanding of the structure of proofs. In this system, a proof is built by selecting cards with information necessary for proof such as assumptions, conclusions, and conditions, and arranging them. The result is returned to the learner. In this study, we systematized the information excess/deficiency test as a test to determine whether the learner could understand the structure of the proof. In addition, using the two systems, we conducted an experimental use and analyzed the degree of comprehension of the structure of the proof.
