To create new products by changing the characteristics of existing objects, it is important to be aware of many characteristics of objects. Characteristics of an object can be noticed by comparing it with other objects that have the same features whose noticed characteristics are different. This research focuses on ad-hoc categories that categorizes objects according to the context. We propose a method to discover new characteristics by comparing objects belonging to the same ad-hoc category. In addition, using MANZAI, which prepares peculiar objects belonging to ad-hoc categories as bokeh, we develop a system that allows the user to experience the effect of the proposed method. |
