Generation of GPS and QZSS Spoofing Signals

(in English) Spoofing, in which actual satellite signals are spoofed to send signals with falsified position and time information, has become a major problem in the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). The generation of a pseudo-GNSS signal is necessary to study anti-spoofing measures. This study proposes how to generate an environment where GPS and QZSS are present based on USRP. Specifically, the GPS-SDR-SIM, which supports only GPS signals, was modified to generate a simulation file with QZSS L1C/A signals, and RF signals were generated using USRP. It is shown that the position and time information can be falsified in a commercial GNSS receiver that received our generated signals.
