Periodic Memory and Learning Chaotic Dynamical Systems in Hysteresis Reservoir Computing

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Hysteresis Reservoir Computing, which applies a simple hysteresis network to the reservoir layer of reservoir computing, generates complex dynamics. In this paper, we confirm experimentally that hysteresis reservoir computing has periodic memory for its input by utilizing complex periodic solutions generated in the reservoir layer. We also show that it can learn complex signals such as chaotic dynamical systems by treating the chaotic mapping of the Lorenz model.
