Statistical Modeling of Automotive Component Noise-Source Including Load Change

(in English) Electromagnetic noise is often a phenomenon with large fluctuation, so, it is effective to understand the noise source characteristics including fluctuations in order to design the emissions from a system with noise sources. For this reason, a method is proposed to construct a statistical model by applying a generalized extreme value distribution to each frequency of noise current frequency spectrum obtained by repeatedly measuring on a bench while varying the load. It aims at obtaining a practical model by a simple method, not a rigid model construction. The method is applied to the noise current from an in-vehicle DC-DC converter, and the prediction accuracy of the statistical distribution after the load changes has been verified. As a result, it is shown that the distribution and the upper limit of noise intensity can be predicted with practical accuracy in the band below 700MHz.
