We propose a new method of missing completion using a DNN for the purpose of automatically completing missing areas in a dense colored point cloud space that could not be measured at the time of measurement or when removing unwanted objects. This method attempts to complete missing parts in a colored point cloud by two steps: shape completion and color completion. First, shape completion attempts to apply an existingDNNto high-density measured point cloud data, and performs geometric completion other than color information. For color completion, we propose Point Cloud Color Filling Network (PCCFN), which outputs a shape-completed colored point cloud from a colored point cloud containing missing parts and a shape-completed uncolored point cloud, and attempts to complete color information. In this report, we apply the proposed method to dense colored point cloud measuring office space and report the results of the method. |
