Study of finger-vein images improvement for noncontact finger vein recognition

(in English) Currently, we are studying noncontact authentication of finger vein. However, the light other than near infrared light from the light source reduce the contrast of the finger vein images. Moreover, the images are blurred when the finger is out of focus. These causes the deterioration of finger vein images and low authentication accuracy. To address the problem, in this study, we transformed the vein pattern images from the deteriorated images using Pix2Pix.
