Diffusion model with MASKed input for generating gestures during dyadic conversation

(in English) In a dyadic conversation scene, it is necessary to consider not only the behavior of one person but not also that of a conversation partner.
The synchronized behaviors with a conversation partner such as nodding and smiling are generated by using the motion generation model.
In this research, we propose the interaction diffusion model (IDM) that generates interaction behaviors based on the masking features of participants.
IDM generates the interaction behavior by using various shapes of masks for dynamically conditioning the generation.
IDM is applied to the motion generation during a dyadic conversation, and differences in the generated result and computational time are investigated.
The results suggest the proposed motion generation model generates human-like behavior with low computational cost.
