Design of Linear Array Antenna with Loss Less Beam Forming Network for Designed Excitation Coefficient

(in English) Each antenna element in an array antenna should be excited by designed ratios to obtain desired antenna pattern. Each antenna element is fed by a BFN (Beam Forming Network). The ideal BFN has no reflection at an input port and the designed excite coefficient at each antenna element. If BFN is composed of loss less circuit, it is vulnerable against reflection or mutual coupling of antenna elements. This report proposes the novel design method that realizes designed excite coefficients and no reflection at an input port under the condition that antenna elements have reflections and mutual couplings. Application to a linear array antenna is also shown.
