Acrylic resin used for a denture base or a prosthesis as dental material widely is not superior in points such as the mechanical strength. Therefore, a technique to reinforce it by mixing filler materials such as TiO2 is used. Among them, the effects of grain size and other factors on mechanical strength when TiO2 is used have not been elucidated. In this study, when TiO2 is used as an inorganic filler material, clarify the effects of particle size, crystal structure, etc. on the mechanical strength and other properties of acrylic resins. |
