Image Restoration using Super-Resolution and Deblur

(in English) With the development of deep learning, many studies on Super-Resolution (SR) using CNN have widely been done in the world. CNN-based methods show good performances on objective evaluation such as PSNR or SSIM etc. , meanwhile output images from these methods look weakly-blurred images. This is why they show low performances on subjective evaluation. On the other hand, GAN-based methods are a new trend recently because they may be able to solve the problems of CNN-based methods. Output imagers from them look clear with no blur at a glance. Unfortunately, they show lower performances on objective evaluation than CNN-based methods because they impel to generate high-resolution images without any reason. In this paper, we present a novel super-resolution method, which combines CNN-based methods and a deblur technique. We think of unclear parts of output images as blur, and remove them by a deblur technique. Our method shows better performances both on objective and subjective evaluation than existing methods.
