(in English) In principle, obtaining information to reproduce a three-dimensional acoustic space requires a four-point measurement. However, the data obtained by such four-track recordings are incompatible with the conventional stereo recording format. The present study proposes a novel encoding method that contains full-spherical spatial acoustics in the stereo format. This is done by assuming a virtual stereo microphone system in which the level difference and phase difference between the two microphones become orthogonal. Our new method will provide a possibility to broadcast full-spherical spatial sounds in the conventional audio streaming system.
