| 抄録 | （和） | 野球において，投手の交代タイミングは勝率に関わる重要な要因の一つとなっている．一般的に，投手の交代タイミングは，球数や先発投手のコンディション，中継ぎ投手のコンディションなどの曖昧な基準に基づき監督の判断によって行われているため，適切な判断が下されていない可能性がある．一方，最近では， 1球ごとの球種や投球結果に関するトラッキングデータが全試合にわたって記録されており，これを活用して予測モデルを構築することで，投手の交代タイミングの決定支援が行えるのではないかと考える．本研究は，監督による投手交代のタイミングの判断を支援することを目的として，トラッキングデータによる当日の状態を反映した投手の失点予測手法の提案を行う． |
| （英） | In baseball, the timing of pitcher substitutions is one of the most important factors influencing the winning percentage. Generally, the decision is made by the manager based on vague criteria such as the number of pitches, the condition of the starting pitcher, and the condition of the relieving pitchers, which may result in suboptimal decisions. On the other hand, recently, tracking data on pitch types and outcomes have been recorded for every game, and we believe that a predictive model can be constructed using the data to support the decision-making on when to substitute pitchers. This study proposes a method for predicting a pitcher's earned runs for the day based on tracking data reflecting the condition on the day of the game, with the aim of helping the manager’s decide-making when to substitute a pitcher. | |
