| 抄録 | （和） | 不易流行という理念は俳諧の中にだけでなく，市井の街並みに掲示された言語景観にも投影されている. 日光の世界遺産地域に至るJ R日光駅から日光橋の約１kmの沿道に展開される言語景観を日本語および英語を調査対象として2017年以降調査してきた. 公共機関による掲示や店舗店頭掲示まで各種展開されているが，当該地域の特に観光客をターゲットとした店舗による掲示に注目している. インバウンドの増加傾向から一転してコロナ禍，そして再び外国人観光客の急増という状況に加え，無電柱化に伴う沿道再整備という要因もあり，言語景観には大きな変化が見られた. 外的変化への対応のみならず門前町としての地域の特徴，日本の世界遺産地域に継承される文化的要素を抽出し，意識的にあるいは無意識的に見られる地域からの発信，そして観光客の受容に関して，2023年調査を加え考察する. |
| （英） | “Fuekiryukou” is a word used in Haiku by Basho. It means to remember the essential things that never change, but also to incorporate the new and changing things. The linguistic landscape in Nikko shows us the word. Our survey has been conducted along about 1 km between JR Nikko Station and Nikko Bridge since 2017, which lead to the World Heritage Area. The survey covers the Japanese and its English translations. Various types of notices have been posted by public institutions and in front of shops. In addition to the change seen in many Japanese tourist destinations of the COVID-19, a reversal from the increasing trend of inbound tourism, there was also the factor of roadside redevelopment following the removal of power poles, which resulted in a significant change in the linguistic landscapes. The study extracts not only responses to external changes, but also cultural elements. It examines the conscious or unconscious transmission from the region and the reception of tourists, with the addition of a survey in 2023. | |
