In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the method proposed in "Network anomaly detection and failure scale estimation method" under more realistic conditions. In the proposed method, the network is divided into several groups, and the anomaly for traffic between each group is detected by a dedicated autoencoder, and the failure scale is estimated from the number of autoencoders in each of which an anomaly is detected. In the experiment, we replayed actual traffic data on a virtual network constructed by Mininet and trained each autoencoder on the network data obtained during normal conditions, and then evaluated whether anomaly detection and failure scale estimation were possible in the case of congestion and so on. |
