Our study identifies and prevents threats in real-time, particularly focusing on the publishing stage of the data lifecycle, utilizing data analytics and machine learning. Because contemporary cybersecurity threats in higher education research necessitate advanced strategies beyond traditional measures. We delve into the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) offering a standardized approach to identify, assess, and prioritize risks by analyzing datasets like CVE file patterns. We utilized three machine learning models and evaluated with F1-score. In further work, we will provide a comprehensive framework for enhancing the security posture, improving incident response, and ensuring robust cybersecurity in higher education and beyond. |
