Wearable robot control based on electroencephalograms is expected not only for the use of myoelectric artificial hands for patients with arm defects, but also for the extension of body functions for people without arm defects. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify the characteristics of the brain waves generated by motion imaged. In this study, we detected the electroencephalogram generated during the imagery of hand grasping and opening movements, extracted the features by using supervised learning, and examined the possibility of distinguishing between the gripping motion and the opening motion based on the features. In addition, considering that there are individual differences in the EEG generated, an analysis method that does not depend on the subject was considered. As a result, an average answer correct rate of 70% was achieved for all subjects, and it was found that hand grasping and opening movements could be discriminated by conducting the analysis while taking individual differences into account. |
