Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The structure of a biological sample can be visualized by irradiating light pulses and measuring the reflected light from inside the sample by time-resolved measurement. The multiple reflected light inside the living body is observed as background noise that degrades the image quality. Authors are aiming to develop a method for suppressing background noise that surpasses conventional methods by applying quantum technology. In this report, we discuss a method to remove multiple reflected light by converting the electromagnetic field calculated by the FDTD (Finite-Difference Time-Domain) method into wavenumber space and identifying the direction of light propagation.
