| 抄録 | （和） | 本研究では，運動知覚における多感覚統合の加齢変化について検討した。実験では，若齢者群と高齢者群を対象に，聴覚刺激の運動方向弁別課題を行った。視覚刺激（ランダムドットキネマトグラム）の運動方向と聴覚刺激の運動方向が一致している条件，一致していない条件，聴覚刺激のみを提示する条件の3つを設定し，聴覚刺激のSN比 (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) の閾値をQUESTによって測定した。結果として，年齢に関わらず，不一致条件に比べ一致条件において聴覚運動弁別におけるSN比の閾値はより低かった。このことは，運動知覚における多感覚統合は加齢による影響を受けないことを示唆する。 |
| （英） | This study investigated the multimodal integration in audio-visual motion perception among both young and older adults. In this experiment, participants were asked to discriminate auditory motion direction. Three experimental conditions were established: congruent, incongruent, and audio-only. In congruent conditions, the auditory motion direction coincided with that of the random dot kinematogram. In incongruent conditions, auditory stimuli moved in the direction opposite to the visual motion. In audio-only conditions, visual stimuli were not presented. Signal-to-noise ratio thresholds for auditory motion discrimination in each condition were estimated by employing the QUEST method. We found that signal-to-noise ratio thresholds were lower in the congruent condition compared to the incongruent condition, irrespective of age. These findings suggest that aging does not affect the multimodal integration in audio-visual motion perception. | |
