Computing Node Selection Method for Sensing Data Analysis in End-Cloud Environments

(in English) Technology such as volunteer computing, which exploits computing resources of nodes in the neighborhood of people, has been attracting attention. When using a large number of end nodes with computing power in the neighborhood of people as an ``End Cloud," groups of appropriate computing nodes that communicate with each other can be selected from among them, and tasks that require computing resources can be processed at the computing nodes. Main problem in this case is the increase in the amount of messages communicated over the network in addition to quick task completion. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for selecting an appropriate set of computing nodes from the End Cloud taking this problem into account. We evaluate the performance of the proposed method by simulation experiments.
