In this study, we propose a method to improve the image quality of CBCT images based on a conditional diffusion model that preserves anatomical structures by using pseudo-CBCT images. Artifacts were artificially created in the CT images by contrast correction, deformation using randomly generated displacement field in the sinogram domain, and CT value correction using masks in the image domain to obtain pseudo-CBCT images with matching anatomical structures. The model learned from 67 cases of pelvic CT and pseudo-CBCT data was applied to 8 pseudo-CBCT and real CBCT data, and the effectiveness of the proposed method in improving the image quality of CBCT images was confirmed. |
